Full Exit Closures, Additional Impacts for I-10 Work in El Paso Begin Sunday

Texas I-10 Construction | I-10 Exit Guide

The Texas Department of Transportation reports the following traffic impacts associated with I-10 construction in the El Paso area beginning Sunday, November 14, 2021.

Sunday, November 14, and Monday, November, 15, 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.

  • A full closure of the Juarez exit will be in place. No Detour. No access to Juarez. Right lane closure on Ramp D, which connects US 54 southbound to I-10 eastbound, at the gore of Bridge 15, will be in place.
  • A closure of the left and right lanes of Ramp H, which connects I-10 eastbound to US 54 northbound, will be in place. US 54 northbound and southbound traffic will proceed through the middle lane. Southbound traffic will be closed at Ramp H, which connects I-10 eastbound to US 54 northbound, but can proceed northbound and will use the Pershing Drive turnaround.
  • If Ramp A, which connects I-10 westbound to US 54 northbound, is not closed for maintenance, then a full closure of Ramp H will be in place.

Crews will be performing striping work.

Sunday, November 14 through Thursday, November 18, 8 p.m. to 6 a.m.

  • A full closure of Ramp A, which connects I-10 westbound to US 54 northbound, will be in place at I-10 westbound.
  • DETOUR: Traffic should proceed to the Cotton exit, use the turnaround, and take I-10 eastbound to the center lane of Ramp H, which connects I-10 eastbound to US 54 northbound, for US 54 northbound.
  • A full closure of Ramp C, which connects US 54 northbound to I-10 westbound, will be in place.
  • DETOUR: I-10 westbound traffic should proceed to Pershing Drive, use the turnaround, and then take US 54 southbound to I-10 westbound.

Sunday, November 14, 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.

  • A lane closure, from Trowbridge Drive to Montana Avenue, will be in place.

Crews will be performing barrier work.

Tuesday, November 16, and Wednesday, November 17, 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.

  • A full closure of US 54 northbound at Loop 375 will be in place.. Ramp N, which connects Loop 375 eastbound to I-110 northbound, will be closed to all traffic.
  • DETOUR: Traffic should take Exit 56 (Fonseca Drive), use the turnaround and continue on Loop 375 westbound to Ramp R, which connects Loop 375 westbound to US 62.
  • Ramp O, which connects Loop 375 westbound to US 54 northbound, will be closed to all traffic.
  • DETOUR: Traffic should use Ramp R, which connects Loop 375 westbound to US 62.
  • Ramp T, which connects Gateway North to US 54 northbound, and I-110 northbound Entrance Ramp, will be closed to all traffic.
  • DETOUR: Traffic should take Alameda Avenue, turn left at Raynolds Street and continue on to I-10.

Crews will be performing striping work and EX6 installation.

Thursday, November 18, 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.

  • Traffic on I-110 northbound will be forced to the left lane and leave the Bridge of the Americas to the north.
  • A full closure of Bridge 8 at Ramp N, which connects Loop 375 eastbound to I-110 northbound, will be in place.
  • DETOUR: Traffic headed to I-110 northbound should proceed to Exit 56 (Fonseca Drive), use the turnaround, and head westbound on Loop 375 to Ramp R, which connects Loop 375 westbound to US 62, or Ramp O, which connects Loop 375 westbound to US 54 westbound.

Crews will be performing striping work.

Ongoing closures which will continue without interruption

  • Ramp F, which connects westbound I-10 to southbound US 54 and JuĆ”rez, remains closed until further notice.
  • US 62 (Paisano Drive) remains closed to traffic in both directions between San Marcial Street and Gateway Boulevard South.
  • Gateway Boulevard East remains closed to thru traffic between Loop 478 (Copia Street) and Marr Street.
  • The ramp from southbound US 54 to US 62 (Paisano Drive) remains closed until further notice.
  • Both turnarounds under US 54 at US 62 (Paisano Drive) remain closed until further notice.
  • Intermittent closures on Durazno Avenue, Rosa Avenue and Uva Street.
  • Intermittent lane closures on Gateway Boulevard East between Piedras Street and US 62/180 (Paisano Drive).
  • Intermittent lane closures on Gateway Boulevard West between Boone Street and Palm Street.

THESE CLOSURES ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE DUE TO WEATHER
