The California Department of Transportation reports the following traffic impacts associated with the “I-10 Tune-Up” pavement rehabilitation project between Beaumont and Cabazon from Tuesday, January 17 through Saturday, January 21, 2023. All work is weather and field condition dependent; dates and times are subject to change.
DAYTIME WORK: Tuesday ā Friday | 6:00 a.m. ā 6:00 p.m.
NO PLANNED LANE CLOSURES: CREWS CONTINUE WORKING BEHIND K-RAIL AND ON THE SHOULDERS.
- Watch for crews repairing pavement and removing signage throughout the length of the project from Beaumont Avenue to the SR-111.
NIGHTTIME WORK: Tuesday ā Friday | 7:00 p.m. ā 6:00 a.m.
NIGHTTIME ALTERNATING LANE AND RAMP CLOSURES IN BOTH DIRECTIONS: EXPECT DELAYS, ALLOW ADDITIONAL TIME FOR TRAVEL.
- All ramps: including SR-111 connector, and lanes in the project area are subject to brief intermittent closures.
- Eastbound and Westbound throughout the length of the project from Beaumont Avenue to the SR-111 watch for crews paving, removing k-rail, and restriping completing traffic reconfiguration changes.
