The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) reports that, as part of the I-10 and U.S. 301 interchange improvement project, a nighttime detour will be in place for westbound I-10 to northbound U.S. 301 Wednesday, November 1 from 9:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. the following morning, weather and unforeseen circumstances permitting. The overnight closure will be used to remove temporary barrier walls.

Traffic seeking to access northbound U.S. 301 will continue to State Road 228 exit, turn left onto State Road 228, turn left onto the eastbound I-10 entrance ramp and proceed to the U.S. 301 exit.
Superior Construction Company began the $65 million interchange improvement project in February 2016 and is estimated to complete the work this fall, weather and schedule permitting.
