As part of the Florida Department of Transportation’s (FDOT) I-10 from I-295 to I-95 widening project, detours are scheduled at interchanges within the project limits from Sunday, November 5 through Thursday, November 9 while crews perform bridge construction operations, weather and unforeseen circumstances permitting.
McDuff Avenue at I-10 Closed
Sunday, November 5 through Wednesday, November 8 from 10:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m., northbound drivers will take I-10 east to Stockton Street, right on Stockton Street, right on Irene Street and take I-10 west to reconnect with McDuff Avenue.
Southbound drivers will take I-10 west to the Luna Street exit, left on Luna Street and left on Rayford Avenue to reconnect with McDuff Avenue.
I-10 West Exit to I-295 Closed
Wednesday, November 8 and Thursday, November 9 from 10:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m., drivers will detour to the Hammond Boulevard exit, left on Hammond Boulevard and left on Normandy Boulevard to connect with I-295.
I-10 West Off-Ramp to Cassat Avenue Closed
Monday, November 6 through Thursday, November 9 from 10:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m., drivers will detour to the Lane Avenue exit, right on Lane Avenue and right on Highway Avenue to connect with Cassat Avenue.
This $174.5 million project is scheduled to be completed in early 2025, weather and unforeseen circumstances permitting.
