The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) reports that, as part of the I-10 and U.S. 301 interchange improvement project, the ramp for traffic from northbound U.S. 301 to eastbound I-10 will close tonight, Monday, February 26 between 9:00 p.m. and 5:00 a.m. the following morning, weather and unforeseen circumstances permitting.
The closure will be in place to allow for resurfacing operations of the ramp.
The following detour will be in place during the overnight closure:
Northbound U.S. 301 detour: Traffic will continue north to U.S. 90, travel east on U.S. 90, turn left to travel south on SR 23 and take the exit ramp to access the service road to eastbound I-10.
This $65 million interchange improvement project began in February 2016 and is estimated to complete the work early 2024, weather and
schedule permitting.
