The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) reports that drivers can expect nightly lane closures on I-10 from Chaffee Road to I-295 beginning Sunday, July 7 for milling and resurfacing. Nightly lane closures are expected from 7:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. the following morning, weather and unforeseen circumstances permitting.
During the night of Sunday, July 7, the Chaffee Road exit to I-10 westbound will be closed from 8:30 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. for resurfacing. Drivers will continue north on Chaffee Road, go west on U.S. 90 and exit First Coast Expressway to access I-10.
During the nights of Sunday, July 7 and Monday, July 8, the I-10 eastbound ramp to I295 will be closed for resurfacing from 8:30 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. Drivers will continue on I-10 eastbound to Lane Avenue, exit at Lane Avenue to access westbound I-10 to access I-295.
This $26 million project to complete resurfacing on I-10 between Chaffee Road and I-295, is expected to be completed by mid 2025, weather and unforeseen circumstances permitting.
