I-10 Ramp Closures, Detours for Work in Jacksonville Thru August 4

The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) reports that, as part of a resurfacing project on I-10 between Chaffee Road and I-295, drivers can expect nighttime ramp closures through Sunday, August 4 for milling and resurfacing. Closures are planned from 7:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m., weather and unforeseen circumstances permitting.

Through Thursday, August 1, the eastbound I-10 ramp to Chaffee Road will be closed for resurfacing. Eastbound I-10 drivers will continue to the Hammond Avenue exit and go north to U.S. 90 westbound to access Chaffee Road.

Thursday, August 1 and Sunday, August 4, the I-10 eastbound ramp to Hammond Boulevard will be closed for resurfacing. Drivers will continue east on I-10 to the Lane Avenue exit and take I-10 westbound to access Hammond Boulevard.

Through Thursday, August 1, the eastbound I-10 ramp to I-295 will be closed for resurfacing. Drivers on eastbound I-10 will continue east to the Lane Avenue exit and take I-10 westbound to access I-295.

Wednesday, July 31, Thursday, August 1 and Sunday, August 4, the southbound I-295 ramp to eastbound I-10 will be closed for resurfacing. Drivers on I-295 will continue southbound, exit Normandy Boulevard and re-enter I-295 northbound to access I-10.

This $26 million project is for the resurfacing on I10 between Chaffee Road and I-295. The project is expected to be completed by mid2025, weather and unforeseen circumstances permitting.
