The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) reports that, as part of a resurfacing project on I-10 between Chaffee Road
and I-295, drivers can expect nighttime ramp closures for milling and resurfacing from 7:00 p.m. Friday, August 2 to 5:00 a.m. Saturday, August 3, weather and unforeseen circumstances permitting.
- Chaffee Road ramp to eastbound I-10 closed: Drivers on Chaffee Road will continue north to U.S. 90 east, then take Hammond Boulevard south to access I10.
- I-295 southbound ramp to eastbound I-10 closed: Drivers on I-295 will continue south to Normandy Boulevard (State Road 228) and re-enter I-295 northbound to access eastbound I-10.
This $26 million project to complete resurfacing on I10 between Chaffee Road and I-295, is expected to be completed by mid 2025, weather and unforeseen circumstances permitting.
