The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) reports that, as part of their I-10 from I-295 to I-95 widening project, closures and detours are scheduled at multiple interchanges within the project limits while crews perform bridge construction operations, weather
and unforeseen circumstances permitting. Please note that schedules may be adjusted to avoid conflicting detour traffic along the routes.
Closures scheduled through Thursday, August 29 from 10:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. the following morning:
- Irene Street on-ramp to I-10 West closed: Drivers will detour to Edison Avenue and take Forest Street to connect with I-10 West.
- I-10 West exit to Luna Street closed: Drivers will detour Cassat Avenue and take Highway Avenue to connect with Luna Street.
Southbound drivers will detour to Lenox Avenue and take Luna Street to connect with I-10 East.
Closure scheduled Tuesday, August 27 through Thursday, August 29 from 10:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. the following morning:
- Cassat Avenue on-ramp to I-10 East: Northbound drivers will detour to Cassat Avenue, to Highway Avenue and take Luna Street to connect with I-10 East.
This $174.5 million project is scheduled to be completed in summer 2025, weather and unforeseen circumstances permitting.
