The Mississippi Department of Transportation reports that the project to widen Interstate 10 from four to six lanes between Ocean Springs and Vancleave remains underway.
Lane closures for this project have been limited to evening hours. The project will add one lane in each direction including widening six bridges along Interstate 10.
The $40 million project was awarded to Mallette Brothers Construction and is anticipated to be complete by early 2018.
