Right smack dab in the middle of nowhere. Apache Homelands is the only restaurant for miles, and directly off New Mexico’s Interstate 10, exit 102.
While it’s the only restaurant around, it’s still a great place to stop and grab a bite no matter what time you’re passing through (they’re open 24 hours a day). It didn’t even look like a restaurant, just a nondescript building. Don’t let the truck lot exterior vibe fool you.
The food was home-cooked, fresh and hot. The prices were reasonable, considering there’s nothing for miles. The menu looked awesome. I tried the Indian Tacos and was not disappointed.
It’s a great place and the restrooms are super clean! The people working there were very nice and made you feel welcomed. The truckers seem to love it too!
I recommend it!
