Dots Diner – Kenner, LA

When I was little, my mother used to always say “you can’t get up from the table until you’ve finished everything on your plate”. Well that won’t be a problem at Dots Diner.

I believe there are four Dots Diners in Louisiana, this particular one is in Kenner, Louisiana less than a mile south of Interstate 10, exit 223 on 2239 Williams Boulevard (on your right). We discovered Dots on a recent road trip across I-10 to Texas.

We’ve been there once and only for lunch, and we were impressed. I had the Hamburger Steak with garlic bread, mashed potatoes and vegetables and my husband had the Half and Half platter (fried catfish and jumbo shrimp) with vegetable, garlic bread and mashed potato. Both meals were delicious. Portions were great and the price was right!

While we probably won’t pass through here again, I thought I would mention Dots Diner here for anyone else passing through Kenner. It’s a nice break and well worth it!
