The Florida Department of Transportation reports that the I-10 Pensacola Bay Bridge now has an additional lane open to traffic.
The new lane is located on I-10 eastbound between the Pensacola Bay bridge and exit 22 along Avalon Boulevard. The result is a total of six lanes in both directions on that section of Interstate 10.
Construction of this project continues and I-10 travelers will see alternating east and westbound lane closures from 8:00 pm to 6:00 am daily.
