Detours Scheduled for Next Week as Part of FDOT’s I-10 Widening Project

As part of the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) I-10 from I-295 to I-95 widening project, detours are scheduled at interchanges within the project limits from Sunday, December 3 through Thursday, December 7 while crews perform bridge construction operations, weather and unforeseen circumstances permitting.

I-10 west Exit to U.S. 17 (Roosevelt Boulevard) closed:
Sunday, December 3 through Thursday, December 7 from 10:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m., drivers will detour to the McDuff Avenue exit and left on McDuff Avenue to connect with Roosevelt Boulevard.

I-10 east exit to McDuff Avenue closed:
Sunday, December 3 through Thursday, December 7 from 10:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m., drivers will detour to the Stockton Street exit, right on Stockton Street, right on Irene Street and take the onramp to I-10 west to connect with McDuff Avenue.

I-10 west exit to Cassat Avenue closed:
Tuesday, December 5 through Thursday, December 7 from 10:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m., drivers will detour to the Lane Avenue exit, right on Lane Avenue and right on Highway Avenue to connect with Cassat Avenue.

McDuff Avenue to I-10 west on-ramp closed:
Sunday, December 3 and Monday, December 4 from 10:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m., northbound drivers will detour left on Lenox Avenue and left on Cassat Avenue to connect with I-10. Southbound drivers will detour north on U.S. 17, east on I-10, take the Stockton Street exit, right on Stockton Street and right on Irene Street to connect with I-10 west.

This $174.5 million project is scheduled to be completed in early 2025, weather and unforeseen circumstances permitting.
