The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) I-10 and State Road 121 Operational Improvements project is expected to start this week, weather and unforeseen circumstances permitting.
The project is located at I-10, exit 335 (6th Street) and includes:
- Milling and resurfacing
- Adding exit lanes from I-10 to State Road 121
- Updating signals
- Upgrading signage and lighting
- Drainage improvements
I-10 traffic will be maintained in accordance with FDOT design standards throughout the project. No lane closures or detours will be allowed between the hours of 6:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m.
This $8.82 million I-10 construction project is expected to be completed in the spring 2025, weather and unforeseen circumstances permitting.
