The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) reports that, as part of the I-10 and U.S. 301 interchange improvement project, westbound I-10 will close and traffic detoured between State Road 23 and U.S. 301 nightly beginning Tuesday, January 30 through Thursday, February 1 from 9:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. the following morning, weather and unforeseen circumstances permitting.
The closure will take place to perform various asphalt paving activities.
Westbound I-10 detour: Westbound I-10 traffic will exit at State Road 23, proceed west on U.S. 90, south on U.S. 301/State Road 201 (Baldwin Bypass) and back onto westbound I-10.
The $65 million interchange improvement project began in February 2016 and is estimated to complete the work early 2024, weather and schedule permitting.
