The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) advises motorists that westbound I-10 lane closures from Acadian Thruway to Lorri Burgess Avenue have been rescheduled. The lane closures, which are part of the I-10 corridor enhancement project, have been rescheduled to take place nightly from 7:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. beginning on Sunday, December 3 through Thursday, December 7, depending on weather.

There will be one lane closed beginning at 7:00 p.m., followed by a second adjacent lane closure at 10:00 p.m. All lanes will be open by 5:00 a.m. The left lane on I-10 westbound between the Perkins Rd. on-ramp and the Dalrymple Dr. off-ramp has been shifted toward the inside center median. However, the center and right lanes will be shifted once crews are able to restripe on Sunday, December 3. The shift will be in effect beginning Monday, December 4.

Lane closures on I-10 and I-12 westbound from Essen Lane to College Drive have been rescheduled for December 7 through December 9. These nightly closures will begin at 9:00 p.m. and last until 7:00 a.m. There will be two lanes closed from 10:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.

All construction activities are weather dependent and are subject to potential changes. DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through construction sites, and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
