The New Mexico Department of Transportation District One office in cooperation with Mountain States Construction, Inc. (Contractor) is continuing with a roadway rehabilitation project on Interstate 10 from milepost 24.9 (Lordsburg East) to milepost 35.
Beginning Tuesday, February 16, 2022, the westbound exit off ramp at milepost 24 (Lordsburg East) will be closed for paving operations. Closure will be in place daily from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. until Friday, February 18, 2022. Drivers can utilize of ramps at milepost 22 (Main St.) or milepost 20 (W Motel Dr.)
Daily lanes closures will continue to be in place on both westbound and eastbound lanes of I-10. Contractorās hours of operation will be from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Construction is expected to be completed spring 2022.
