The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) announces that the left lane of I-10 westbound will be closed beginning at 9:00 p.m., Friday to 5:00 a.m., Sunday. This closure is necessary for crews to perform work on the joints of the Ward Creek Bridge between the I-10/I-12 split and College Drive exit.

In the coming weeks, motorists should prepare for a new traffic alignment as the project nears completion. Under the final configuration, I-12 westbound will be realigned under the I-10 overpass at the I-10/I-12 split.

Once completed, the College Flyover project will provide College Drive-bound drivers with a two-lane dedicated ramp, safely separated from interstate traffic.
