I-10 travelers passing through Louisiana should be aware of the following Interstate 10 closures that may impact their trip.
The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) advises motorists that the I-10 Eastbound On-Ramp, currently from the existing LA-1 Northbound bridge in Port Allen, will have a full closure Sunday, April 27, 2025 and Monday, April 28, 2025, from 10:00 pm to 4:00 am each night.
These closures are necessary for the work required to install new asphalt shoulder along the I-10 Eastbound on-ramp, install temporary concrete barriers, and place temporary striping for the upcoming traffic diversion that will have Northbound traffic accessing the I-10 Eastbound On-Ramp from the new LA-1 Southbound Bridge.
All work is weather dependent and subject to change. DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution throughout construction and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
