I-10 Ramp Closures, Detours Thru September 11 on FDOT’s Widening Project

As part of the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) I-10 from I-295 to I-95 widening project, closures and detours are scheduled at multiple interchanges within the project limits while crews perform bridge construction operations, weather and unforeseen circumstances permitting. Please note that schedules may be adjusted to avoid conflicting detour traffic along the routes.

Closures scheduled through Tuesday, September 10 from 10:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. the following morning:

  • Cassat Avenue on-ramp to I-10 East closed: Northbound drivers will detour to Cassat Avenue, to Highway Avenue and take McDuff Avenue to connect with I-10 East. Southbound drivers will detour to Lenox Avenue and take McDuff Avenue to connect with I-10 East.
  • Luna Street on-ramp to I-10 East closed: Drivers will detour to Rayford Street and take McDuff Avenue to connect with I-10 East.

Closures scheduled Monday, September 9 from 10:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. the following morning:

  • I-10 East from Cassat Avenue to McDuff Avenue closed: Drivers will detour to Cassat Avenue, to Highway Avenue and take McDuff Avenue to reconnect with I-10 East.
  • Southbound Cassat Avenue at I-10 closed: Drivers will detour to I-10 West, to the Lane Avenue exit and take I-10 East to reconnect with Cassat Avenue.

Closures scheduled Wednesday, September 11 from 10:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. the following morning:

  • I-10 East from McDuff Avenue to U.S. 17 closed: Drivers will detour to the McDuff Avenue exit and take U.S. 17 to reconnect with I-10 East.
  • McDuff Avenue on-ramp to I-10 East closed: Drivers will detour to Rosselle Street and take Stockton Street to connect with I-10 East.

This $174.5 million project is scheduled to be completed in summer 2025, weather and unforeseen circumstances permitting.
