The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) reports that, as part of the I-10 and U.S. 301 interchange improvement project, the ramp for traffic from westbound I-10 to U.S. 301 will close nightly at 9:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 6 and Thursday, March 7, reopening by 5:00 a.m. the following morning, weather and unforeseen circumstances permitting.
The closure will be in place to allow for construction activities on the bridge deck over U.S. 301.
The following detour will be in place during the overnight closures:
Westbound I-10 ramp to U.S. 301 detour: Traffic seeking to access U.S. 301 from westbound I-10 will proceed west, exit at SR 228 (Exit 336), turn left on SR 228, turn left onto eastbound I-10 and proceed to the U.S. 301 exit.
The $65 million interchange improvement project is expected to complete the work in spring 2024, weather and schedule permitting.
