January 24 Update on Latest State Highway Closures Across Louisiana

Louisiana I-10 Traffic | I-10 Exit Guide

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) is providing an update on the latest weather-related closures on state routes throughout Louisiana. Motorists should keep in mind that conditions change rapidly and roadways may be closed suddenly if they’re unsafe for travel.

Please note that some routes, such as I-10, may extend through many parishes, so motorists should reference the list for the specific areas in which they are interested. Motorists should also check 511la.org before traveling.

Below is a list of state roadways that are CLOSED as of January 24, 2025, at 8:00 am.

  • Ascension Parish
  • I-10 eastbound between U.S. 61 and U.S. 51
  • Assumption Parish
  • U.S. 90 in both directions between Amelia and Des Allemonds
  • East Baton Rouge Parish
  • I-110 in both directions between the I-10/I-110 split and U.S. 61 Natchez
  • Jefferson Parish
  • PARTIALLY OPEN: U.S. 90 (Huey P. Long Bridge) between Jefferson Highway and Seven Oaks Boulevard (one lane open in each direction)
  • LA 3139 (Earhart Expressway) between Dickory Avenue and Hamilton Street
  • Lafourche Parish
  • PARTIALLY OPEN: LA 1 bridge between Port Fourchon and Leeville (between Leeville Bridge and south connector open only)
  • Orleans Parish
  • PARTIALLY OPEN: U.S. 90B on the Crescent City Connection (one lane open in each direction)
  • U.S. 90B (Westbank Expressway) between Westwood Drive and LA 428
  • U.S. 90 B between I-10 and Tchoupitoulas Street
  • PARTIALLY OPEN: I-510 between I-10 and south of the “Green Bridge” (between Almonaster Avenue and south of “Green Bridge” open only)
  • St. Charles Parish
  • LA 3127 south ramp to I-310 northbound
  • PARTIALLY OPEN: I-310 in both directions between U.S. 90 and I-10 (Hale Boggs Bridge between LA 18 and LA 48 open only)
  • St. John the Baptist Parish
  • I-10 in both directions between U.S. 51 and U.S. 190B
  • I-55 in both directions between I-10 and LA 22

Drivers should avoid being on the roadways if travel is not absolutely necessary. As a reminder, it’s unlawful and unsafe to drive around a road closed barricade for any reason.
