The Texas Department of Transportation reports the following traffic impacts associated with the I-10 Connect construction project in El Paso:
Monday, February 8, through Thursday, February 11
- Nightly from 9:00pm to 5:00am
- Southbound US 54 will be reduced to two lanes between Cassidy Road and Pershing Drive.
- Main lanes of southbound US 54 will be closed to all traffic between Pershing Drive and Trowbridge Drive.
- DETOUR: All southbound traffic must take Exit 21B (I-10 West/Las Cruces/Downtown) to the collector/distributor lanes and can re-enter the main lanes at Trowbridge.
Crews will be relocating concrete safety barriers.
Monday, February 8, through Thursday, February 11
- Nightly from 9:00pm to 5:00am
- Westbound I-10 will be reduced to one lane between Trowbridge Drive and US 54.
- Ramp A which connects westbound I-10 to northbound US 54 will be reduced to one lane.
Crews will be relocating concrete safety barriers.
Monday, February 8, and Tuesday, February 9
- Nightly from 9:00pm to 5:00am
- Main lanes of northbound US 54 will be closed to all traffic between I-10 and Pershing Drive.
- DETOUR: Thru traffic on US 54 will take Exit 21B (Montana Avenue) to Gateway Boulevard North and re-enter northbound US 54 at Pershing. Traffic entering US 54 from I-10 will take Exit 23 (Cassidy Road), enter the collector/distributor lanes and re-enter the main lanes at Pershing Drive.
Crews will be relocating concrete safety barriers.
Wednesday, February 10, and Thursday, February 11
- Nightly from 9:00pm to 5:00am
- Main lanes of northbound US 54 will be closed to all traffic between I-10 and Montana Avenue.
- DETOUR: Thru traffic on US 54 will take Exit 21B (I-10/Montana Avenue) and bear left to Gateway Boulevard North then re-enter northbound US 54 at Montana. Traffic entering US 54 from I-10 will take Exit 23 (Cassidy Road), enter the collector/distributor lanes and re-enter the main lanes at Pershing Drive.
