The New Mexico Department of Transportation reports the following I-10 construction and maintenance operation impacting travel through August 2018.
- Deming, NM (Mile post 96)
The New Mexico Department of Transportation will have maintainers on the roadway for bridge and roadway repairs.
Traffic will encounter lanes closures on the westbound passing (left) lane west of Akela. Speed limits will be reduced to 55 mph, motorists are asked to reduce speed, obey posted signs, and use extreme caution, as well as continue to be cautious of heavy equipment and construction personnel in the area. Monday through Thursday from 7:00 am to 5:30 pm.
Construction is expected to be completed by August 2018.
