The Florida Department of Transportation and the I-10 widening project in Pensacola reports that traffic on I-10 eastbound is now shifted to the inside near the Ninth Avenue overpass.
The shift will allow allow crews to reconstruct and lower the outside travel lanes to provide additional clearance for the overpass.
Drivers are encouraged to obey the posted speed limit and refrain from texting while driving.
