The Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT) reminds motorists that it’s not going to be easy this weekend if you normally would use westbound I-10 between the Chandler area and downtown Phoenix.
A long stretch of westbound I-10 will be closed. Here’s what to prepare for:
MAJOR CLOSURE: Westbound I-10 will be closed all the way from Loop 202 (Santan Freeway) to the I-17 “Split” near Sky Harbor Airport from 10:00 p.m. Friday to 4:00 a.m. Monday (January 27) for work on the I-10 Broadway Curve Improvement Project.
ANOTHER CLOSURE: Southbound State Route 143 (Hohokam Expressway) closed between Loop 202 and I-10 near Sky Harbor Airport from 10:00 p.m. Friday to 4:00 a.m. Monday (January 27). This also is for work on the Broadway Curve Project.
