Major I-10 Construction Project in New Mexico to Start April 1

New Mexico I-10 Traffic | I-10 Exit Guide

The New Mexico Department of Transportation is excited to announce the $23.3M upcoming roadway rehabilitation project on Interstate 10 from milepost 0 (Arizona Stateline) to milepost 15 (Gary) in Hidalgo County.

Beginning Monday, April 1, 2024,Ā and lasting approximately 200 working daysĀ drivers can expect various daytime lane closures on both the eastbound and westbound lanes as needed for milling and paving operations.Ā The contractorā€™s hours of operation will be from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.Ā Overnight lanes closures may be in place for the replacement of the guardrail and concrete wall barrier.
