The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) reports that, as part of their I-10 from I-295 to I-95 widening project, closures and detours are scheduled at multiple interchanges within the project limits while crews perform bridge construction operations, weather and unforeseen circumstances permitting.
Closures scheduled through Thursday, February 15 from 10:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. the following morning:
I-10 West exit to U.S. 17 (Roosevelt Boulevard) closed:
Drivers will detour to the McDuff Avenue exit and left on McDuff Avenue to connect with Roosevelt Boulevard.
I-10 West exit to Cassat Avenue closed:
Drivers will detour on I-10 to Lane Avenue, right on Lane Avenue, right on Highway Avenue to Cassat Avenue.
I-10 east exit to McDuff Avenue closed:
Drivers will detour to the Stockton Street exit, right on Stockton Street, right on Irene Street and take I-10 West to connect with McDuff Avenue.
McDuff Avenue north at I-10:
Drivers will detour to I-10 East, take the Stockton Street exit, right on Stockton Street, right on Irene Street and take I-10 West to reconnect with McDuff Avenue.
Closure scheduled Wednesday, February 14 and Thursday, February 15 from 10:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. the following morning:
Cassat Avenue to I-10 East on-ramp closed:
Northbound drivers will detour to Cassat Avenue, right on Highway Avenue and right on Luna Street to connect with I-10 East. Southbound drivers will detour to Lenox Avenue and right on Luna Street to connect with I-10 East.
This $174.5 million project is scheduled to be completed in early 2025, weather and unforeseen circumstances permitting.
