The Texas Department of Transportation reports the following traffic impacts associated with the I-10 Connect construction project in El Paso.
Monday, October 10, 2022
- 9:00 p.m. (Nighttime closure that will last a maximum of 4 hours)
- A partial closure of the four lanes on I-10 eastbound, from the Copia Street exit to the Raynolds Street exit, will be in place. All traffic will be directed to the left lane.
- A full closure of Ramp J, which connects I-110 to I-10 eastbound, and Ramp D, which connects US-54 southbound to I-10 eastbound, will be in place. The Juarez ramp will be closed to prevent traffic from getting stuck at the international bridge.
Crews will be performing LCD (barricade) removals at Reynolds Street.
Tuesday, October 11, 2022
- 9:00 p.m. to 4:00 a.m. (Closure expected to end before 4 a.m.)
- A partial closure of I-10 eastbound, from Piedras Street to the Copia Street overpass, will be in place. The three left lanes will be closed and traffic will be directed to the two outside lanes.
Crews will be working on Dynamic Message Signs (DMS).
