The Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT) announces their Friday Reminder edition of the Weekend Freeway Travel Advisory for January 17-20. Below are the restrictions for freeway improvement projects in the Phoenix area:
- Eastbound Loop 101 (Pima Freeway) closed between Cave Creek Road and State Route 51 in north Phoenix from 9:00 p.m. Friday to 5:00 a.m. Monday, January 20 for pavement maintenance. Consider exiting ahead of the closure and using eastbound Union Hills Drive or Deer Valley Road as alternate routes. The northbound SR 51 ramps to eastbound Loop 101 will be open.
- Eastbound I-10 narrowed to two lanes between the I-17 “Split” interchange and 32nd Street near Sky Harbor Airport from 10:00 p.m. Friday to 5:00 a.m. Monday, January 20 for work on the Broadway Curve Improvement Project.
- I-10 will be closed during mostly overnight hours in the downtown Phoenix region on Friday night (eastbound) and Saturday night (westbound) for regularly scheduled Deck Park Tunnel maintenance.
