The Louisiana Department of Transportation announces a traffic switch on I-10 Eastbound near Louisiana Avenue Exit in Lafayette Parish

Beginning on Friday March 8, near the Louisiana Avenue exit in Lafayette, I-10 eastbound traffic will be switched from the existing two outside lanes to the two newly constructed inside lanes. The switch will begin near mile marker 104 and traffic will continue on the new eastbound roadway for approximately 5 miles where it will be diverted back onto the two existing outside roadway lanes.

This switch will require the closing of the LA 328 eastbound on and off ramps on Saturday, March 9, from 1:00 a.m. to Sunday, March 10, at 6:00 a.m.

Should weather not permit this work to take place on this weekend, the switch will be rescheduled for the evening of Friday, March 15, 2019.
